Board of Directors of the Auraria Higher Education Center

The Auraria Higher Education Center Board of Directors manages the operational affairs of the three-school Auraria campus.

for a term expiring July 13, 2023:

  • Paul Washington of Boulder, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Historical Records Advisory Board

The board advises the Governor on all aspects of historical records housed within the State of Colorado and develops state guidelines for historical records projects in accordance with the National Historical Publications and Records Commission.

for terms expiring September 1, 2024:

  • Leigh Jeremias of Denver, Colorado, reappointed;

  • Rose-Etta Horn of Denver, Colorado, reappointed;

  • Holly Kathryn Norton of Longmont, Colorado, reappointed;

  • Charles Nicholas Saenz, PhD of Alamosa, Colorado, appointed.

Colorado Secure Savings Program Board

Colorado Secure Savings Program Board was created to help establish a state-facilitated, automatic enrollment IRA plan, coupled with the greater use of financial education tools in the state for Colorado workers whose employers do not provide this service. They also develop an investment policy statement and oversee the investment of the funds contributed to accounts in the program.

  • Keith Thomas Nuber of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of employers, appointed;

  • John Ikard of Littleton, Colorado, to serve as a representative with expertise in investment or retirement savings plan administration and as a representative of a federally chartered bank, appointed;

eHealth Commission

The Commission shall support the implementation of the state's Health IT strategy and interoperability objectives by setting goals for Health IT programs and creating a process for developing common policies and technical solutions.

for a term expiring February 1, 2023:

  • Sophia Gin of Highlands Ranch, Colorado to serve as a consumer engaged in health care, Colorado, appointed.

Petroleum Storage Tank Committee

The Petroleum Storage Tank Advisory Committee establishes procedures, practices and policies governing the process for applying to the underground storage tank fund.  The Fund reimburses eligible applicants for allowable costs in cleaning up petroleum contamination from petroleum storage tanks.

for a term expiring October 16, 2023:

  • Stephen Callahan of Littleton, Colorado, to serve as a representative of companies that refine and retail motor fuels in Colorado, reappointed.

Board of Registered Psychotherapists

The Board of Registered Psychotherapists is a licensing and disciplinary board that oversees licensed psychologists in the state.

for a term expiring July 1, 2021:

  • Zane Grant of Pueblo, Colorado, a professional member, occasioned by the resignation of Kelvin Nicholson of Denver, Colorado, appointed; 

for terms expiring July 1, 2024:

  • Karin Dremel of Boulder, Colorado, a professional member, appointed;

  • Laura V.H. Knight of Broomfield, Colorado, a professional member, appointed;

  • Scott Jeffrey Bitcon of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a public member, appointed.

RTD Accountability Committee

The purpose of the RTD Accountability Committee is to provide an independent and objective analysis of RTD's operations, and was formed in collaboration with the governor's office, RTD, the chairs of the state house, and senate transportation committees.

for a term expiring at the pleasure of the Governor:

  • Rebecca White of Denver, Colorado, serving as urban planning expertise, occasioned by the resignation of Sophie Shulman of Denver, Colorado, appointed.

Special Eviction Prevention Task Force

The Special Eviction Prevention Task Force is a temporary task force within the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) to examine housing instability due to COVID-19 in Colorado. They will work in partnership with the Division of Housing’s Strategic Housing Working Group. The task force will present its findings and recommendations to the Executive Director of DOLA and to the Governor.

State Rehabilitation Advisory Council

The State Rehabilitation Council advises State Rehabilitation Services on the provision of appropriate and quality services to its customers. A majority of its members must be persons with disabilities. 

for a term expiring July 1, 2022:

  • Sherrell Bethel of Colorado Springs, Colorado, serving as a resident of the Fifth Congressional District, occasioned by the resignation of Caryn Beth Schaffner of Colorado Springs, Colorado, appointed.

State Veterinary Education Loan Repayment Council

Created in Colorado State University's (CSU) College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.  The Rural Veterinary Education Loan Repayment Council shall be under the direct supervision of the dean of CSU's college of veterinary medicine and biomedical sciences or the dean's designee. The Council is created to assist veterinarians with education loan repayments in exchange for providing veterinary services in rural areas of the state in need of veterinary services. Repayments from the fund to eligible veterinarians who:  have graduated from an accredited doctor of veterinary medicine schools; currently live in Colorado or, at some point, have lived in Colorado for at least 3 years; and agree to practice veterinary medicine for up to 4 years in a rural area of the state that is experiencing a shortage of veterinarians that the council designates for participation in the program.  Members serve four year terms and can serve three consecutive terms.
