Governor Polis Appoints Sarah Cure to 8th Judicial District Court

DENVER -  Today Governor Jared Polis appointed Sarah B. Cure to the 8th Judicial District Court. She will fill a vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Stephen E. Howard. The vacancy is effective January 12, 2021. 

Ms. Cure is the sole owner of The Cure Law Office, a position she has held since 2008. Her practice consists of criminal defense and collateral matters. She is also currently serving as a Contract Attorney for the Colorado Judicial Department. Previously, she was an Attorney with The Wareham Group LLP at Centerra (2007-2008), and Associate Attorney with the Law Office of Andrew Bertrand, P.C. (2005-2007). Ms. Cure earned her B.A. from University of Colorado in 2001, and her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law in 2005.
