Governor Polis Takes Action in Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

DENVER - Governor Polis took action in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Governor Polis extended an Executive Order authorizing Executive Directors of certain agencies to promulgate and issue emergency rules extending the expiration date of licenses and other documents due to COVID-19 in Colorado. 

The Governor also amended and extended an Executive Order pertaining to elective surgeries. The new Executive Order continues the hospital reporting requirements and the ability of the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to issue a Public Health Order, while allowing the other provisions to expire.
