Gov. Polis Signs Bill Into Law

DENVER  — Today, Governor Jared Polis signed a bipartisan bill updating boards and commissions statutes to include an 8th Congressional District. Following the most recent reapportionment and addition of an 8th Congressional seat, this good governance bill accounts for the addition of the 8th Congressional District where applicable, and cleans up language within statutes to make it easier to understand the intent of the law and the requirements for service of Colorado’s boards and commissions.

• SB22-013, Boards And Commissions | Speaker Alec Garnett, Minority Leader Hugh McKean | Senate President Steve Fenberg, Senate Minority Leader Chris Holbert
