Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators

The Board licenses nursing home operators and may conduct hearings to revoke, suspend, deny or reissue licenses.

effective July 2, 2021 for a term expiring July 1, 2025: 

  • Carolyn Ruhl of Brush, Colorado, to serve as a representative of nursing home administrator and continuum of care administration, reappointed. 

Denver Metropolitan Area Regional Air Quality Council

The Denver Metropolitan Area Regional Air Quality Council is the lead agency for air quality planning with the responsibility to prepare air quality plans for the Denver metropolitan region to demonstrate and ensure long-term compliance with federal air quality standards.

for terms expiring April 30, 2022:

  • Kristin Stephens of Fort Collins, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (NFRMPO), and occasioned by the resignation of Donald Marceau Mcleod of Severance, Colorado, appointed;
  • Mike Foote of Lafayette, Colorado, to serve as a member with broad public interest, and as chair, occasioned by the resignation of Martha Rudolph of Denver, Colorado, appointed;

for terms expiring April 30, 2024:

  • Curtis Wayne Huber of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the conservation community, reappointed;
  • Enessa H. Janes of Arvada, Colorado, to serve as a representative of local government in the Denver metropolitan region, appointed;
  • Oscar Madera of Commerce City, Colorado, to serve as a representative of local government in the Denver metropolitan region, appointed;
  • Steve Naples of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a representative of the general business community, appointed.

eHealth Commission

The Commission shall support the implementation of the state's Health IT strategy and interoperability objectives by setting goals for Health IT programs and creating a process for developing common policies and technical solutions.

for a term expiring February 1, 2022:

  • Kevin Stansbury of Hugo, Colorado, to serve as a representative with experience and knowledge in health care quality measures, occasioned by the resignation of Jason Greer, Boulder, Colorado, appointed;
  • Michael Archuleta of Trinidad, Colorado, to serve as a representative with experience and knowledge in non-profit health IT-related community organizations, occasioned by the resignation of Michele Lueck, Englewood, Colorado, appointed; 

for a term expiring February 1, 2023:

  • Anthony Sean Martinez of Aurora, Colorado, to serve as the designee of OIT, occasioned by the resignation of Alex Pettit, Denver, Colorado, appointed. 

Electronic Recording Technology Board

The Electronic Recording Technology Board is charged with developing and modernizing electronic filing systems by creating a strategic plan that incorporates the core goals of assuring the security, accuracy and preservation of public records required to be maintained by a clerk and recorder. The Board also determines functionality standards for these electronic filing systems, issues requests for proposals for electronic filing system equipment and software, develops best practices for electronic filing systems, provides training to clerks and recorders related to electronic filing, and awards grants and prepares reports.

for a term expiring July 1, 2023:

  • Robert Landers Howe of Edwards, Colorado, to serve as a member from the title industry, reappointed. 

Real Estate Commission

The Real Estate Commission regulates the licensing and conduct of real estate brokers and salespeople and pre-owned home warranty service companies.

for a term expiring April 12, 2024:

  • Joe Chang of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a real estate broker with expertise in real estate business, occasioned by the resignation of Salim Azzam of Colorado Springs, Colorado, appointed. 

State Board of Addiction Counselor Examiners

The Board is responsible for regulating addiction counselors. Four members must be licensed or certified addiction counselors (two must be engaged in direct practice of addiction counseling).

for a term expiring December 31, 2021: 

  • Jonathan Culwell of Aurora, Colorado, to serve as a public member, occasioned by the resignation of Shelly Griffith of Brush, Colorado, appointed. 

State Board of Pharmacy

The Board examines applicants and issues licenses to pharmacists. The Board also regulates professional conduct, inspects pharmacies, holds hearings and may suspend or revoke licenses. 

effective July 2, 2021 for terms expiring July 1, 2025: 

  • Avani S. Soni, PharmD, of Aurora, Colorado, to serve as a licensed pharmacist, appointed;
  • Jasjit Singh Gill, PharmD, of Denver, Colorado, to serve as a licensed pharmacist, appointed. 

State Board of Psychologist Examiners

The State Board of Psychologist Examiners reviews applicants for licensure and issues a license to those who meet the requirements to be a psychologist in the State of Colorado.

for terms expiring May 31, 2025:

  • Sonia Christina Izmirian, Ph.D., of Greenwood Village, Colorado, to serve as a professional member, appointed;
  • Jack Mark Wesoky of Centennial, Colorado, to serve as a public member, reappointed.
