Gov. Polis: Trump Administration’s Meddling in Census Undermines A Complete Count, Jeopardizes Federal Resources
DENVER - Gov. Polis released the following statement after the Trump administration released a memo related to the 2020 Census.
“Once again the Trump administration is using the Census as a tool to sew fear and division and produce an undercount. A complete Census count is key to our ability as a country and as a state to ensure adequate funding for schools and infrastructure. When all Coloradans are counted, we all benefit from the resources and programs allocated to our state. In Colorado, we value our immigrant community and know how important they are to our way of life and our economy.”
