Governor Polis Appoints Billy-George Hertzke to the 14th Judicial District Court

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis appointed Billy-George Hertzke to the 14th Judicial District Court. The vacancy is created by the retirement of the Honorable Michael A. O’Hara III and the appointment is effective January 14, 2025. 

Mr. Hertzke is a Partner at SGR, LLC, a position he has held since 2011. His practice consists primarily of civil litigation. Previously, Mr. Hertzke was an associate at SGR, LLC (2003-2011). Mr. Hertzke earned his B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1996 and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2003.
