Governor Polis Appoints Melissa C. Meirink to the Colorado Court of Appeals

DENVER - Today, the Governor appointed Melissa C. Meirink to the Colorado Court of Appeals. This vacancy is created by the Honorable Anthony J. Navarro not standing for retention, and the appointment is effective January 14, 2025.

Ms. Meirink is a Staff Attorney for the Colorado Supreme Court, a position she has held since 2014. Her practice consists of reviewing criminal and civil appeals to assist the Colorado Supreme Court. Previously, Ms. Meirink was a Senior Associate at Greenberg Traurig LLP (2011-2013) and an Associate at Holland & Hart LLP (2005-2011). Ms. Meirink earned her B.A. from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2001 and her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2005.
