Governor Polis Releases Statement on Passing of Senator Joe Lieberman

DENVER - Governor Polis released the following statement on the passing of Senator Joe Lieberman.

“I’m saddened to hear of Joe Lieberman’s passing and my thoughts are with his family and friends during this time. We first met when he was a candidate for Vice President, and during our time in Congress I saw his passion for education up close as we worked together on the Race to the Top initiative. Joe was a dedicated public servant throughout his life and he will be missed,” said Governor Polis.
