Governor Polis Signs Bills To Build A Colorado For All, Support Colorado Businesses, and Break Down Barriers To Employee Ownership

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis signed the following bills into law. 

  • SB24-001 - Continue Youth Mental Health Services Program, sponsored by Senators Dafna Michaelson Jenet and Lisa Cutter, and Representatives Kyle Brown and Manny Rutinel. 
  • SB24-053 Racial Equity Study, sponsored by Senator James Coleman, and Representatives Naquetta Ricks and Leslie Herod. The bill creates a study that will help determine best state practices, systems, and policies for increasing equity. 
  • HB24-1156 - Chamber of Commerce Alcohol Special Event Permit, sponsored by Representatives Anthony Hartsook and William Lindstedt, and Senators Jim Smallwood and Rachel Zenzinger. 
  • HB24-1157 - Employee-Owned Business Office & Income Tax Credit, sponsored by Representatives William Lindstedt and Stephanie Vigil, and Senators Jeff Bridges and Chris Kolker.
