Governor Polis Takes Action to Provide Election Security

DENVER — Today, Governor Polis took action to support election cybersecurity ensuring Colorado remains the national gold standard for safe and secure elections.

Gov. Polis signed an Executive Order activating no less than four and up to six unarmed members of the Colorado National Guard Defensive Cyber Operations Element to assist with election cybersecurity defense efforts during the 2024 state primary election on June 25, 2024, beginning June 18, 2024 and extending for up to thirty days, as has been done in previous elections. With this action, Colorado continues its long history of safe and secure elections, providing Coloradans with the opportunity to exercise their fundamental right to vote. Colorado voters can find their nearest ballot drop box or voting center at GoVoteColorado.gov. Remember to return your ballot by 7pm on Election Day, Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
