Governor Polis Takes Action in Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

DENVER - Governor Polis took action in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Governor Polis extended a Executive Order D 2021 120 related to the protection of tenants from eviction during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Colorado.

Governor Polis extended an Executive Order D 2021 119 requiring the temporary suspension of certain statutes and rules to expand the healthcare workforce for hospitals and other inpatient treatment facilities due to the presence of COVID-19. 

Governor Polis amended the Executive Order D 2021 121 pertaining to the State’s disaster declaration due to COVID-19 in Colorado. The amendment repays previous borrowing from the State Emergency Reserve and reallocates Federal funds from the Department of Public Health and Environment to the Department of Corrections, Department of Public Safety, and the Department of Labor and Employment to continue to support the State’s emergency response.
