Governor Polis Takes Action in Response to COVID-19 Pandemic

DENVER - Governor Polis took action in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Governor Polis extended Executive Order D 2021 029 preventing late fees for residential and commercial tenants. The Governor also amended the COVID-19 disaster declaration Executive Order D 2021 028, reallocating funds among certain state agencies for COVID-19 response activities and transferring $100 million to the Controlled Maintenance Trust Fund to repay a cash advance provided under SB20B-004. This transfer fulfills the State’s obligation pursuant to statute and is made possible by the receipt of federal funds.

Governor Polis also extended Executive Order D 2021 030 providing relief to public utility customers due to financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
