DENVER - Today, Governor Jared Polis signed SB21-205, the FY 2021-2022 Long Appropriations Bill. Gov.

DENVER - Today, Governor Jared Polis signed a bill into law at a signing ceremony at Fort Lewis College in Durango.  

STATEWIDE- The Colorado Department of Transportation continues to award Revitalizing Main Streets grants to help communities improve their roadways and community infrastructure, supporting strong economic activity and public safety. The Revitalizing Main Streets grant program began last summer in an effort to mitigate the negative economic fallout from the COVID-19 crisis.

DENVER - Today, Governor Jared Polis shared Colorado’s new mask guidelines, following yesterday’s announcement from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“If you have been fully vaccinated, the pandemic is largely over for you, and you can now resume your activities without a mask,” said Governor Jared Polis. “This is the day we have been waiting for. If you haven’t yet been vaccinated, you should continue to wear a mask in public indoor spaces. I hope the fun of an unmasked future incentivizes those who have yet to get the vaccine to do so.”

DENVER - As part of Governor Polis’ Vaccines for All efforts, the State of Colorado is allocating vaccines to community-based organizations. All of these clinics focus on vaccinating underserved Coloradans and span a variety of diverse communities. 

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis announced multiple state court appointments.

Pueblo County Court (10th Judicial District) — Margaret Vellar

The Governor appointed Margaret Vellar to the Pueblo County Court in the 10th Judicial District. This vacancy is created by the retirement of the Honorable David L. Lobato. The vacancy is effective July 1, 2021.
