    DENVER — Gov. Polis today announced the appointments of David H. Yun, Sueanna P. Johnson, and Christina F. Gomez to the Colorado Court of Appeals. These vacancies are occasioned by the retirement of the Honorable Robert D. Hawthorne, Honorable Daniel M. Taubman, and Honorable John R. Webb.

    State government offices closures and delays for Nov. 26

    DENVER — State of Colorado government offices in Denver, Boulder, Greeley, Fort Collins, and surrounding suburban counties will be closed on Tuesday, November 26 due to extreme weather conditions. State offices in Colorado Springs will open to the public at 10 a.m., and there will be a two-hour delay in scheduled start times for state employees there to arrive to work safely.

    Colorado Receives Rural Broadband Grant

    DENVER — The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a grant award of $2.7M to Emery Telecommunications & Video, Inc. (Emery Telecom) today, expanding western Colorado’s rural broadband access to an additional 494 homes, farms, businesses and community anchor institutions located in the town of Dove Creek and Dolores County. This weekend in Montrose, Governor Polis released the administration’s Rural Economic Blueprint, which outlines ways the administration will continue building a Colorado that works for everyone, especially those outside of the Front Range. Governor Jared Polis is committed to modernizing Colorado’s broadband infrastructure to expand internet access across the state and help rural communities overcome economic challenges.

    Gov. Polis Releases Rural Economic Blueprint

    MONTROSE - Today Gov. Polis released the Rural Economic Blueprint, which outlines ways the administration will continue building a Colorado that works for everyone, especially those outside of the Front Range. This Blueprint will address concerns and challenges in rural communities by leveraging existing assets, building on innovative programs, and increasing efforts to ensure that all Coloradans have the opportunity to thrive.
