Chief's Message

We hope you enjoy our new website. We have spent many hours trying to make it the most useful tool possible for you, our customer. 2018 is shaping up to be a potentially dangerous fire season. Please take time to make your personal fire evacuation plan now. Have all your most important items ready to go at a moment's notice. Have prearranged safe meeting places with your family. Take time to mitigate your property. Proper mitigation increases the chance we will be able to make an effective stand when a wildfire is approaching. We're hopeful that we will receive some late spring moisture... until then, we are preparing for a tough season and doing everything we can to be ready.

Other important changes to note: We have entered an agreement with the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Department for dispatching services. We have our own, dedicated non-emergency line. Dispatch can be reached at (303) 526-7676. You can call this number 24 hours a day to request a fire department response. It DOES NOT replace our business/administrative line and should not be used to contact fire department members or staff, except after hours.

As always, we are looking for new members to help keep our department running smoothly. There are many opportunities to get involved and give back. Call us to find out more.

Have a safe, healthy and happy 2018.
