Welcome to your Police Department's web page. It is my sincere desire that you will partner with us to make Leadville a safe, enjoyable place to live, work and play. Our mantra is simple; we are here to serve, assist and protect you. Our job is to help facilitate a solution to each and every issue we observe or is brought to our attention, big or small. Whether it is a traditional "police" matter or not.

We live in the best country and system of government in the world, bar none. We, your police department, represent what is right, true and good about our system and society. We will act accordingly. All our members are here because they have a strong desire to help people. I say this is your police department, I mean it; I am just the individual chosen to lead it. To that end, my door will always be open. Stop in or call and let me know how we are doing. I will always attempt to answer your questions and work together with you to find real, lasting solutions to any problems that might arise.

To request a record from the Police Department, please print, complete, and return the Records Request Form to the Police Department.

Together we can and will make Leadville one of the safest and most enjoyable places to live in Colorado. I
