    Mobile Vaccination Clinics at Juneteenth Celebrations in Pueblo, Colorado Springs & Denver

    STATEWIDE -  The state has partnered to bring COVID-19 vaccination clinics to Junteenth celebrations in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Pueblo. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates the day African Americans in Texas learned of their freedom two years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Celebrations are hosted in cities across the country.

    Governor Polis Signs Bills Into Law

    FORT MORGAN — Today, Governor Jared Polis signed state stimulus bills into law during in-person signing ceremonies in Greeley, Evans, Fort Collins, Fort Morgan, Sterling and Fort Collins.  Governor Polis was joined by Colorado Department of Agriculture Commissioner Kate Greenberg, Dan Gibbs, Executive Director, Colorado Department of Natural Resources, Department of Corrections Executive Director Dean Williams, state lawmakers, and Coloradans as he signed these important bills to help power the Colorado Comeback into law.

    Nursing Homes to Receive COVID-19 Relief Funds

    DENVER – The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing announced today that it will issue $16 million in enhanced payments to Medicaid nursing home providers to support industry stabilization given the significant impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. These funds will be directed to support continued infection prevention efforts and rising costs of direct care staffing.
