    Video: Vaccine Dry Run Drill

    DENVER — The Colorado Unified Coordination Center completed the drill to test its ability to deliver the COVID-19 vaccine to a distribution facility from Denver International Airport. In a four hour end-to-end drill, the Pfizer vaccine arrived at Denver International Airport where it was loaded onto a secure vehicle and driven to Vail Health, one of several distribution centers across the state.

    Colorado Successfully Completes Vaccine Dry Run Exercise

    COLORADO — Today, Governor Polis and state officials discussed the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine and provided an update on the response to the pandemic. Gov. Polis was joined by Scott Bookman, Incident Commander for the Colorado Dept. of Public Health and Environment; Brigadier General Scott Sherman, Dir. of Joint Vaccine Task Force, Colorado National Guard; and Joni Reynolds, Gunnison County Public Health Director.

    Update on First Gentleman Marlon Reis

    DENVER -  First Gentleman Marlon Reis was diagnosed with COVID-19 ten days ago, was admitted to the hospital for treatment this weekend and today he has been successfully discharged and returned home.

    Update on First Gentleman Marlon Reis

    The First Gentleman and Governor appreciate all of the kind words and support they have received during this time and continue to urge all Coloradans to do their part to slow the spread of this virus. That means wearing a mask in public, staying six feet from others, avoiding large gatherings, and washing your hands regularly.

    First Gentleman Taken to Hospital for COVID-19 Symptoms Monitoring

    DENVER - Over the last 24 hours, First Gentleman Marlon Reis started to experience a slightly worsening cough and shortness of breath on day eight after being diagnosed with COVID.

    As a precaution, the First Gentleman has been transported to the hospital for review and treatment. Governor Polis is not experiencing any additional symptoms at this time. 

    The Governor drove the First Gentleman in his personal vehicle to the hospital. We will continue to update the general public as new information is available.
