DENVER - Today, the Governor’s Office will submit its 2024-2025 supplemental budget requests and 2025-2026 budget amendments following the most recent economic forecast. These requests build on the Governor’s budget proposal to preserve education funding, make government more efficient, and make further investments in increasing public safety all while protecting the state's fiscal future. 

Statewide - Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 - Today, the Polis Administration released the Colorado Microgrid Roadmap, which outlines opportunities to improve power grid resilience in Colorado through innovative microgrid solutions. Microgrids are local energy systems that can operate independently from the main power grid, keeping Colorado homes, businesses, and essential local services such as hospitals connected to electricity during larger power grid outages. 

DENVER — Today, Governor Polis appointed Kristen M. M. Tarrin to the Dolores County Court in the 22nd Judicial District. The appointment fills the vacancy created by the appointment of the Honorable Ian J. MacClaren to the Montezuma County Court and is effective immediately.
