DENVER - Today, Governor Polis visited Rose on Colfax Early Learning Center in Denver to receive his latest COVID-19 and flu vaccines from the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment’s Mobile Public Health Clinic, and encouraged all Coloradans to protect themselves and communities through vaccination. The Governor was joined by Dr. Rachel Herlihy, the State Epidemiologist.

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis appointed Jessica J. Waggoner as the District Attorney for the 7th Judicial District. This appointment is effective Friday, November 1, 2024, and fills a vacancy created by the resignation of District Attorney Seth Ryan.

Following David Oppenheim's transition to Chief of Staff, Allie Kimmel has been named Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy and Legislative Affairs, Eleni Angelides has been named Legislative Director, and Jamie Short and Casey Badmington have been named Deputy Legislative Directors. 

DENVER — The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) announced today it has hired Danny Combs to lead the newly established Colorado Disability Opportunity Office (CDOO). Combs was the founder and Executive Director of Teaching Autism Community Trades (TACT) Inc. and also the co-founder and Board Chair of Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce.
