    Governor Polis Celebrates Passage of CORE Act

    DENVER - The U.S. House of Representatives approved the bipartisan CORE Act today. Governor Jared Polis released the following statement: “Colorado’s public lands and wild spaces are critical to the Colorado way of life and are why so many people love our great state,” said Gov. Polis. “The CORE Act will preserve hundreds of thousands of acres, preserving outdoor recreation opportunities for Coloradans and visitors alike. As a Congressman, I was happy to sponsor similar legislation and I’m thrilled to see this bill moving forward.”

    Governor Polis Announces Launch of Colorado Digital IDTM in the myColorado Mobile AppTM

    LAKEWOOD — Today, Governor Jared Polis announced the historic launch of the Colorado Digital ID in the myColorado mobile app, the State of Colorado’s official mobile app™. The Digital ID enables Coloradans to create an electronic version of their Colorado driver license or state identification (ID) card, and can be displayed on smartphones for proof of identification, age, and address within Colorado. The Colorado Digital ID is a secure, unique visual representation of what has traditionally been the legally accepted official physical format of a person’s identification.

    State government offices in Denver area will open late today

    DENVER — State of Colorado government offices in Denver and surrounding suburban counties will open at 10 a.m. due to extreme weather conditions. There will be a two-hour delay in scheduled start times for state employees to arrive to work safely.

    Gov. Polis Signs Shared Stewardship Memorandum of Understanding with USDA and DNR

    DENVER - Gov. Polis and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) signed a Shared Stewardship Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the state capitol. This agreement establishes a framework for federal and state agencies to collaborate better, focus on accomplishing mutual goals, and respond to ecological, natural resource, and recreational challenges and concerns for our 24 million acres of forest lands in Colorado.

These awards recognize individuals and teams who are elevating the performance of state government, improving customer service and ensuring better outcomes for everyone who interacts with the State of Colorado. The two award categories include Outstanding Service in Government and Outstanding Innovation in Government.

    Gov. Polis Announces Executive Clemency Advisory Board

    DENVER - Gov. Jared Polis announced today that he is recreating and reorganizing the Governor’s Executive Clemency Advisory Board. This Board will review clemency applications and provide recommendations to the Governor for commutations and pardons.
