DENVER - Today, Governor Polis signed historic bills into law to cut the income tax rate and help Coloradans keep more of their hard-earned money.

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis signed bills into law that support more housing near transit, and allow Coloradans the freedom to build accessory dwelling units (ADUs, also called mother-in-law flats or casitas) on their property, creating more housing options that are affordable. Governor Polis called for both of these actions in his 2024 State of the State address.

DENVER – Today, Governor Polis and the Colorado Department of Higher Education launched a framework for Colorado public institutions of higher education to formally recognize students when they have completed all requirements in the state’s Guaranteed Transfer Pathways (GT Pathways) general education curriculum. The credential helps save students time and money by highlighting the skills and competencies gained through general education and the value of these essential skills to employers.

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis announced a process to review applications and recommend finalists to him for the appointment of an unaffiliated Clear Creek County Commissioner for District II. District II comprises the southeast portion of the county and includes the western part of Evergreen and a large portion of the Floyd Hill community. DENVER - Today, Governor Polis and the Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT) announced the Colorado CHIPS Community Support grant program to grow Colorado’s semiconductor industry. These grants will support Colorado communities interested in growing their local or regional semiconductor industries, with special emphasis on new and emerging markets across the state.
